1. Before your marriage begins, make and agree on the ground rules on how you will live according to your income.
2. Never delude yourself into believing that your spouses income is permanent.
3. Be cautious and prudent about spending cash to relatives and friends.
4. Buy only what's necessary. Never have an understanding of accumulation.
5. Account for every centavo spent. The more prudent spouse must disburse the money and the other called into consultation regularly.
